If you’re like me and tend to be a little paranoid when it comes to protecting the data on your iPhone, here’s a simple adjustment that may help. Nowadays people store everything from garage codes to grocery lists on there phones. I mean it’s basically a computer in your pocket storing passwords, pictures, contact information and many other pieces of sensitive data that if lost would put you directly into the fetal position. Well here’s a simple feature built right into the iOS 5 operating system that can make things a little tougher on the would be snooper. Just toggle the ‘Simple Passcode’ feature under the Settings/General/Passcode Lock menu from ‘On’ to ‘Off,’ thus giving you the ability to put in an alpha numeric code which can be longer than the default 4 characters. Definitely worth doing in my opinion!
